Plan a month of marketing in an afternoon

Turn one strategy into a full content calendar you can actually run.

The short answer

Tell AI your product, audience and one goal, and have it build a 4-week calendar — 3 posts a week with hooks and formats. Batch-write them, then schedule with a tool like Buffer or Metricool.

The hard part of marketing isn't ideas, it's a plan you'll stick to on the busy days. Build the whole month at once and you're just executing, not deciding daily — and a scheduler means it runs without you.

Beginner

Plan a campaign, not a pile of posts

Random posts pull in random directions. A month with one clear goal — and every post laddering up to it — compounds. Decide the single action you want your audience to take this month, then build everything backward from that. It's the difference between 'I posted twelve times' and 'I ran a campaign that moved a number'.

Intermediate

Pillars, then a calendar

Ask AI for 3–4 content pillars — recurring themes you can credibly own — then a week-by-week calendar with a hook angle and format for each post. Keep roughly 70% value, 20% story, 10% direct promotion, and make sure every post ladders to the goal. You don't need twelve original ideas; feed it a few strong pieces and have it repurpose them into the calendar's formats.

Advanced

Batch, schedule, and review

Produce in batches — you stay in the same mode instead of context-switching twelve times — then schedule everything so the month runs on autopilot and your daily energy goes into engaging with people. At month's end, feed your post performance back in and ask which pillar and format actually moved the goal, so next month is informed by evidence, not guesswork.

Marketing-plan prompts

promptI sell [product] to [audience]. My one goal this month: [goal]. Build a 4-week plan, 3 posts/week. For each: a pillar, a hook angle, the format, and a one-line brief. Mix education, story and proof; no repeated angles.
promptPropose 4 content pillars for my brand [paste what I do + audience], with 5 specific post ideas under each.
promptTake this one idea [idea] and turn it into a week of posts, each a different angle and format.
promptHere's a long piece I wrote [paste]. Repurpose it into 5 short social posts, a thread, and an email.
promptWrite the captions for these 6 posts in my brand voice [describe voice], each ending with a soft call to action: [list the posts].
promptHere's last month's post performance [paste]. Which pillar and format worked best, and what should I do more of next month?
💡 Plan the month, batch the work, schedule it. Consistency from a plan beats brilliance you can't sustain.
